| About Healing Chimes |
|
The purpose of an individual Healing chime is to help an individual attain a better balance of one or more of their major chakras. Healing chimes are tuned to a specific chakra and when played focus a stimulating tone into the chakra(s) thus helping to create a better flow, or balance with and between the chakras. Chakras maybe over stimulated or under stimulated depending on established patterns of thought, emotion, or physical behavior. The advantage of using the chime energy is that it bypasses the defensiveness of the ego's blockage as it attempts to maintain the old dysfunctional energy pattern. When one's chakra(s) is out of balance either over stimulated or under stimulated, various physical and emotional problems can be manifested. By gently stimulating a chakra with sound vibration created by the Healing Chime the balancing point within the chakra is activated and begins to bring the high and low points towards the center. The balancing of the chakra begins to provide better overall health for the individual. The Healing Chimes is a form of sound therapy and is not a one shot fix. Rather the Chime needs to be listened on a consistent basis to set up a new pattern. Eventually one can begin to realize new insights about themselves and their environment. We have been told by individuals who have used the chimes that our Chimes are the American equivalent to Tibetan Singing bowls, and produce similar results. One difference however is that our chime's sound last several minutes with one strike of the mallet. The psychological aspects of the major chakras can be contemplated for
further insights by drawing a major arcana card, meditating on the card
while playing the associated chakra note. We have played the Healing Chimes in public for various people ranging
in age from children to seniors and asked for feedback. All most all the
participants saw colors in their minds. Some of them experienced vivid
visual meditative states for the first time. Others had emotions surface
for reviewing in a insightful state of mine. Most felt a sense of relaxation
and contentment by the end of a short session. Healing Chimes can be helpful tools for massage therapists, energy workers, emotional healers, and meditation leaders. Healing Chimes can be played to help balance an individual's chakras, to help bring a group into harmony for meditation, or even to help relax a pet. According to Eastern Tradition, chakras are centers of energy that supply
energy to the blueprint of the body. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel
and many people who can see chakras describe them as spinning wheels or
vortexes. Most authors have described the major chakras as being located along
the spine, over the forehead, and at the top of the head. The common names
of the seven major chakras are as follows: first chakra or root chakra,
second chakra or sacral chakra, third chakra or solar plexus chakra, forth
chakra or heart chakra, fifth chakra or throat chakra, sixth chakra or
brow chakra, seventh chakra or crown chakra. The major arcana of the tarot is said to correspond to the seven major
chakras. Each chakra has three major arcana cards representing the psychological
aspects of the subconscious, the conscious, and the higher consciousness.
This method of study and mastery was represented in the Great Pyramid
of Egypt and corresponds to the twenty-one steps leading to the King's
Chamber. The sarcophagus in the King's chamber is constructed to produce
three octaves of the same note when struck in specific areas. This note
was used to stimulate the three psychological aspects of that chakra.
Traditionally, each major chakra is influenced by a specific note ranging
from C to B. The subconscious, conscious, and higher consciousness aspect
of each chakra is stimulated by a different octave of the same note. The following are the traditional associations of the tarot to the major
chakras as well as the musical notes. Second Chakra : Relationship issues. Third Chakra : Power issues. Forth Chakra : Sincere feelings. Fifth Chakra : Creative expression and communication issues. Sixth Chakra : Mental focuses and decision issues. Seventh Chakra : Ethics and leadership issues. The psychological aspects of the major chakras can be contemplated for
