subtitle: The journey of a mothers heart after the death of her (young) daughter.

From the book jacket:
In Valdosta, Georgia, shortly after midnight on March 8, 1998, a car carrying five young people on their way to celebrate one of their birthdays was hit head-on by a drunk driver. Three of the five were killed. It was the worst traffic fatality recorded in Valdostas history to that date. This book shares the journaling of the mother of one of the accident victim, Sarah Elizabeth Brown, through the first year and a half (plus) following the accident. It is an open, honest, poignant, and often raw accounting of the journey of a broken heart made whole again. It has been compiled with the desire that it might bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to all parents who have experienced the death of a child.
